G is for Grace... the grace of God... the grace of God in all of us.

Whether you choose to believe or not, I firmly believe that inside each one of us is the beautiful, delicate, intricate grace of our beloved Father-- of God himself. The little word itself keeps popping up all over the place in my life lately. It's serving, in my eyes and heart, as a reminder to remember how precious a thing it truly is-- grace-- to carry and to consider throughout each day, each of our obstacles and our successes.

Grace is a soft and beautiful thing; it's to be handled as such. I think sometimes we forget. I know I do, at least. So, it's important to take a step back and remember every once and again, its purity and delicacy, like that of a child, or a flower, or anything fragile and worthy of love-- like daughters and grandmothers.

To work as a nanny is to receive reminders of grace daily through the eyes and hearts and minds of innocent children we look after. For that, I am immeasurably grateful, for my faith is restored each time I am greeted by the wonder and amazement of the little guy I care for everyday. Gotta love him! Gotta love this life of a nanny. :)
