Who Dat Nanny! Evening, Weekend, Overnight Childcare in NOLA

Hi there! I hope this post finds you well.

My name is Brittney Schering, and I am an experienced, compassionate, 26-year-old nanny. Having recently relocated to New Orleans from Los Angeles where I worked as a nanny in Beverly Hills, I came eager to resume work in the field that I love-- childcare.

I recently parted ways with a weekday nanny share job, Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 5:30pm, to begin my career as a writer/editor for a national marketing firm here in New Orleans. I was caring for two nine-month-old babies from two different families since last November [they were barely three months old when I began]. It was an awesome, very rewarding job, and I miss it! With my Bachelor's degree in Professional Writing, I had to move on to a career, but I will still offer childcare services on evenings and weekends, and that is why I am posting this here!

I am currently available for evening, weekend, and overnight care for children of all ages! Whether you're a local New Orleanian, or you're in town visiting for work or for fun, I'd be happy to watch your little ones for you so that you can get the full New Orleans experience!

Prior to moving to NOLA in October 2014, I worked as a full-time nanny in Beverly Hills, CA. I've also worked all throughout Southern California, as well as in Michigan, which is where I am from. I am CPR and First Aid certified, as well as college-educated with a Bachelor's degree. Along with that, I run a monthly, international childcare magazine crafted by nannies, for families. Please feel free to view it at It is available in both print and digital formats!

With a dual-passion for writing and childcare, I am so excited to be nannying here in NOLA! Here is a youtube video I created for my UrbanSitter account:

Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have regarding my childcare rates and experience. Thank you so much for your time, and I will look forward to speaking with you soon!

Happy 2015! The Pablove Issue is available.

Happy New Year from all of us at Not Your Average Nanny Magazine! We hope the year ahead is full of wonderful memories and milestones for everyone!

Our January 2015 is available in both print and digital formats, and you can view it here. This issue, The Pablove Issue, is dedicated to an excellent children's charity, The Pablove Foundation.
